Astronomy

Joddrell Bank is very helpful for people wishing to gaze at the night sky.

I used it to see the partial lunar eclipse earlier this month, and I took some (not very good) pictures of it.  Later this month you will be able to see Venus in the early part of the evening, and the Joddrell Bank site shows you excactly where to look for it.  Try this link

which will find the night sky for you whenever you are looking.  Of course you will have to scroll down for the day of the month, but that is easy to do.

In February Joddrell Bank offers you Mars close to an almost full moon.  There is a map showing you exactly where to look.  For anyone like me interested in the night sky this will be amazing.
